About your Divergent Doula

I'm here to help you feel seen and accepted exactly as you are, and to improve your quality of life in a gentle holistic way.

I've been working in disability support for over three years, and have absolutely loved that journey. Over the years I've worked with people in their 20s through to their 70s (I especially enjoy working with older people),

I am AuDHD myself and grew up in a strongly neurodivergent family, giving me deep personal experience with POTS, PCOS, Endometriosis, PMDD, Hypermobility, Anxiety & Depression.

Outside of this work I have been an intuitive healer for almost 10 years.

While most of my sessions have been done for friends and family, it has been an immensely nourishing journey and I'm so excited to share this part of myself with the world.

Through Divergent Doula, I am combining everything I've learned from my personal and professional life to cater to the neurodivergent experience, while also introducing a holistic healing element that so many folks could benefit from.

Hi there, I'm Liz - I'm an Intuitive Healer, Support Worker and End-of-Life Companion.

I am intimately aware of how so many neurodivergent folks suffer from chronic illness and how overly medicalised our lives can feel, so I don't want to add to that feeling. I aim to provide comfort and care that feels warm and secure, yet casual and deeply human. This means no uniforms, a stash of tattoos, and being totally okay if you like to swear!

I believe that professional care can be provided while remaining grounded and relatable, because turning up as my truest self gives you the opportunity to do the same.

Had a crappy sleep and don't have the spoons to get out of your PJs? That's totally fine! Your home is a mess and the sink is full of dishes? It doesn't faze me. Life is too short to judge those around us for simply being human or having a hard time.

Ultimately, I believe that the more personalised and less judgemental the support, the greater the benefits.

Whatever stage of life you're in, I endeavour to meet you there, improving your quality of life, even when we can't extend it. We rarely get to choose the hand we're dealt or how long we're on this earth, but we can take gentle steps to make our time here more peaceful and enjoyable.
